CNC Machinist, Programmer

TEG has a requirement for a CNC Machinist and programmer to join our existing team, based out of our Global Headquarters in Mullingar, Co. Westmeath.

The Role:

  • Precision machining of component parts, tools and fixtures, using a wide range of materials, equipment and machine tools
  • Program and operate CNC and manual machine tools, small hand tools, power tools, test and inspection equipment whilst ensuring health & safety provisions are strictly adhered to
  • Comply with all new product documentation and process control procedures including CNC program control and fixture documentation
  • Ensure components and finished products consistently meet design specifications and high engineering and quality standards

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

  • Knowledge and experience of operating CNC Machining centers, processes and use of CAD/CAM
  • Knowledge in programming and machining 4-axis and 5-axis a distinct advantage

Mechanical Design Engineer

TEG has a requirement for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our existing busy design team, based out of our Global Headquarters in Mullingar, Co. Westmeath.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing mechanical design engineering & problem-solving expertise
  • Project manage multiple projects simultaneously,
  • Complete reverse engineering of various components from measurement to production.
  • Technical support for production, sales and marketing.
  • Taking ownership for the cross-functional activities required to resolve complex issues, always with the aim of continuous process improvement.

Requirements:

Essential

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering Qualification
  • Recent relevant industrial experience – Ideally 5+ years
  • Experience with 3D CAD (NX Preferably) and 2D CAD.
  • Excellent Communication Skills, Verbal, Computer and Presentational.
  • A strong background in problem solving techniques.

Draughtsperson / CAD Technician

TEG has a requirement for a Draughtsperson / CAD Technician to join our existing busy design team, based out of our Global Headquarters in Mullingar, Co. Westmeath.

Key Responsibilities

  • Works directly with the fabrication team and Design/Engineering Team to issue projects quickly & successfully
  • Develop systems and improves lean manufacturing within the fabrication facility
  • Provide drawings from information provided by the Engineering/Design Team
  • Ensure compliance with quality systems in CAD drawings
  • Work independently without needing significant help from others
  • Assume ownership of work and be responsible for project deliverables
  • Participate in team effort to effectively deliver project
  • Preparation of Bill of Materials for issue to fabrication
  • Maintaining up-to-date records of work projects
  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously

Requirements

  • Detailed knowledge of AutoCAD or other CAD Packages
  • Hold a recognised cert. or diploma or equivalent professional qualification in engineering
  • After attaining qualification, have ideally 2 years’ relevant experience of using AutoCAD
  • Experience in metal fabrication
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail required
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure
  • Experience of Blender, Solidworks, NX an advantage but not essential

TEG has a requirement for a Stainless Steel Polisher, based out of our Global Headquarters in Mullingar, Co. Westmeath.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Polish stainless steel components in line with specification on TEG drawings & ASME BPE requirements
  • Review drawings, design and support improvements as appropriate.
  • Liaise with customers, vendors, Machinists & Designers on technical issues.
  • Work in a safe manner and make sure all safety rules are strictly adhered to.

A vacancy exists for a Senior Toolmaker who will join the existing Team located in Mullingar. Applicant should be dedicated, motivated, a self-starter, willing to take on a new challenge. The position is full time and two cycle shift work.

TEG has a requirement for an R and D Technician, based out of our Global Headquarters in Mullingar, Co. Westmeath.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Lead Engineer
  • Assembly and testing of TEG feeding systems.
  • Assembly and testing of TEG sterile washing systems.
  • Record and maintain all information of all testing completed in TEG.
  • Ensure technical issues are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Liaise with customers, vendors, machinists & designers on technical and issues.
  • Responsibility of preparation of technical submissions completed in a timely manner.

Requirements:

  • Relevant Engineering Course

TEG has a requirement for a Quality Technician to join our busy Quality Department, based out of our Global Headquarters in Mullingar, Co. Westmeath.

Roles & Responsibilities

    • Perform an active role in quality control of products, ensuring quality assurance has been carried out on all despatched product in accordance with our quality system.
    • Auditing of in-process checks.
    • Operation of PC based measurement systems.
    • Provide reports/information to management on quality related issues and implement solutions to quality related issues.
    • Participate in cross-functional teams as directed by the Quality Manager.
    • Developing and ensuring that quality goals and measures are adhered to at all times.
    • Ensure compliance with Regulatory Standards, promoting quality awareness and making appropriate decisions on a daily basis.
    • Assist in maintaining the quality management system by conducting internal audits to ISO, EASA requirements.

Requirements

The preferred candidate will have the following skills.

    • Certificate/Diploma in an Engineering discipline from third level institution and/or relevant industrial experience.
    • Experience of working within a Precision Engineering or Pharmaceutical/Aerospace Manufacturing environment is desired.
